This is the new Kahn 6.2 V8 Flying Huntsman 6x6 Defender Double Cab Pick Up will take you just about anywhere you can imagine going.
This enormous five-seat off roader started life as a modest Land Rover Defender 110 before being stretched out more than a standard Defender. Furthermore, the vehicle has been fitted with an extra axle to make it one of the ultimate all-terrain SUV’s on the planet.
A heavy-duty chassis, upgraded suspension and braking system and genuine six wheel drive - ensure this six-wheeled Defender is more than just a show car, putting 430-hp of GM LS3 V8 engine to work on any terrain the driver points the vehicle towards. The V8 does that work in collaboration with a GM six-speed automatic gearbox and channels waste through an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system.
The explosive performance of the Double Cab Pick Up Defender is a far cry from the stolid pulling power of the original.
The exterior of this Santorini Black vehicle is augmented with a wide arch body kit - fitted to the vehicle with Kahn Design’s usual exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
The exterior is fitted with widened front and rear wings with integrated vents and bolt apertures, alongside an X-Lander front grille, front sump guard and a front bumper replacement with bumper lights and Shadow Chrome headlights that give the vehicle an aggressive look to match its stretched six-wheeled silhouette.
The 6x6 also wears the Chelsea Truck Company’s exclusive 1945 Retro Alloy wheels (8x18”) finished in Matte Black with a gold stripe completed with Cooper tyres.
Dark tinted windows keep the cabin hidden, but step inside and you will find a distinctly un-Defender-like front and rear GTB Sports Seats.
Re-upholstered roof headlining, bespoke steering wheel, passenger dashboard top and grab handle, door handles, centre glove box, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium along with hard wearing front and rear cabin floor mats are just some of the additions to what is an endearing interior.
The redesigned silhouette, coupled with Kahn Design’s renowned styling has produced a one of a kind vehicle that makes a definite and lasting statement.
