The Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 90 Wide Track is a vehicle that disobeys the inconsistent fads of fashion.

When asked to write about the Defender’s character, I thought that a vehicle being built in the 21st century that can trace its direct lineage to the one designed 66 years ago was eccentric enough. The Chelsea Truck Company has ensured the Defender has shed its utility image and found a place in the city.

Bearing DNA so typical of a thoroughbred Defender, front and rear wide wings with integrated vents & bolt apertures, bonnet vents with mesh stainless steel, X-Lander front grille, crosshair military headlights, customary Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover, exhaust shields and mud flaps to name but a few enhancements leave a distinctive impression.
The vehicle feels almost unstoppable cruising on some cool 8x16 1948 Defend wheels in satin black (fitted with 235x85x16” tyres).
Bespoke
Appliqué body panels, exclusive leather upholstery and yacht inspired flooring ensure that our vision for the Chelsea Truck Defender to be seen as a fashion icon has turned out to be correct.
Just like all vehicles from The Chelsea Truck Company, the Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 can be custom tailored to a customer’s specification, both exterior and interior.

Occupants will have the benefit of supreme ergonomic comfort by the means of front sports GTB seats in quilted & perforated leather, steering wheel, Churchill time clock facia insert in red, dashboard, instrument binnacle, rear door panel and handle in (optional) Harris Tweed, and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium.
