The lure of an extra day’s holiday ensures many families get into their cars for Bank Holiday getaways. Be warned however, plan ahead or you may stay in your vehicle for most of the day.

Leave Early On
If you set out on a long journey, it is imperative you wake up early in the morning or if you are really eager, set off the night before.
