Geneva 2017 Special: The Rise Of The Black Hawk Edition
Mar 23, 2020
The Chelsea Truck Company unveiled the Black Hawk Edition at the 2016 Geneva Show to much acclaim.
Priced at £49,999 for a two door model, whilst just £52,999 will net you a four door model, the Black Hawk was one of the most talked about and photographed vehicles in Geneva, with journalist’s world over publishing congratulatory column inches and articles.
The objective praise does not end there however, as for 2017, we expect the reception to be even better!
The design attention to detail and sheer value of the Black Edition has not gone un-noticed by CAP, the independent trade specialists.
To increase customer confidence in the added value associated with their vehicle enhancements, The Kahn Group has been working with independent trade specialists CAP for a number of years, commissioning a quarterly report to assess the residual value of its Project Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company vehicles.
According to the latest quarterly figures released by CAP, The Chelsea Truck Company Black Hawk Edition, which was first unveiled to the world at the 2016 Geneva Show, retains a mammoth 35% more value than a standard Sahara model on which it is based.
Chelsea Truck Company sales executive, Jamie Booth insists there is nothing remotely similar to the Black Hawk Edition.
“People love the Jeep, but when they see the Black Hawk Edition, they will no doubt have seen anything remotely similar,” says Booth.
“The Black Hawk Edition is the sort of vehicle which would not look out of place in a John Connor inspired Terminator movie, nor would it look out of place in the Edge of Tomorrow sequel with Tom Cruise, the first instalment of the movie featured a Chelsea Truck Company CJ300.”
Booth puts the impressive luxury sales growth down to the Afzal Kahn touch: “The success is the result of Afzal Kahn and his team spending thousands of hours in the design studio. Certain lifestyles demand only the best, and although the Jeep is an American icon, it is here in Britain that the most innovative Jeep styling package was designed.”
