A Unified Vision Across Three Eras of Defender Design
A trio of vehicles finished in Fjord Green demonstrates how this philosophy connects three distinct eras of Defender design. While each vehicle retains its own identity, the shared colour and carefully coordinated detailing create a unified collection that bridges past and present. Together, they showcase how Kahn Design tailors vehicles across generations while preserving the enduring heritage of the Defender name
Heritage Remastered Classic Defender
The Heritage Remastered Classic Defender represents the foundation of this lineage. Finished in Fjord Green, it features Kahn’s iconic Heritage lattice grille, framed by a gloss black fascia and proudly displaying a wheelbase-specific “90” insignia. Beneath the arches are 18-inch Huntsman Retro Classic wheels, finished with body-colour matched pinstripe detailing and paired with all-terrain tyres to enhance the Defender’s rugged capability and authentic off-road character.
Flying Huntsman Homage II Coachbuilt Defender
Alongside it sits the Homage II coachbuilt Defender, created by Kahn’s coachbuilding division, Flying Huntsman. Inspired by the design language of the Land Rover Series II, the Homage II reinterprets classic Defender heritage through a bespoke body and refined proportions. Finished in Fjord Green, it features a Hyper Silver mesh grille and 18-inch RS-Forged Rostyle wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres, forming a visual bridge between classic inspiration and modern coachbuilt craftsmanship.
Contemporary Defender 90 by Kahn Design
Completing the trio is the contemporary Defender 90, bringing the story into the modern era. It adopts the same Heritage lattice grille design seen on the classic model, here finished in Hyper Silver to echo the detailing of the Homage II. A set of 20-inch British Heritage wheels with all-terrain tyres reinforces its off-road capability while visually linking the modern Defender to the design DNA of its predecessors.
