Over the years - Kahn Group C.E.O, and Design Director, Afzal Kahn has designed a number of vehicles celebrating Her Majesty, The Queen’s Jubilee, 60th Coronation and HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day.
To celebrate HRH Prince Harry Meghan Markle’s wedding Mr. Kahn unveiled the Chelsea Truck Company Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose.
One year on, Mr. Kahn and the Chelsea Truck Company team celebrate the arrival of the latest addition to the Royal Family by showcasing the Land Rover Defender XS 110 Double Cab Pick Up Chelsea Wide Track, complete with the prestigious 4 HRH registration plate.
Mr. Kahn believes the vehicle pays tribute to the young family: “May I take this opportunity to congratulate the happy couple, on the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor on behalf of myself and everyone at The Chelsea Truck Company and Kahn Design,” said the principal British designer.
“As a proud Englishman, this is our way of wishing Meghan Markle, all the best in her journey as a mother to baby Archie.
“I know the likes of Pugata Jewellery have taken our lead and unveiled a stunning Collarette to celebrate the happy occasion.
“However, the XS 110 is like no other and is currently on display at our showroom in Yorkshire. Everyone is welcome to join us and view this prestigious vehicle.”
Feeling almost unstoppable with excellent ground clearance and grip levels than a standard Defender and is adorned with a full range of mechanical and styling upgrades.
The modern design language has been turned up a notch thanks to a new styling package that consists of a Jet Black 3D texture paint colour change, front wings with integrated vents and wide rear wings in light weight composite, X-Lander front grille and headlamp surrounds.
The upgrades and attention to detail added to the Land Rover Defender XS 110 Double Cab Pick Up Chelsea Wide Track make this Chelsea Truck Company model even more rugged and desirable, whilst also offering some incredible attention to detail.
The Chelsea Truck Company Land Rover Defender Double Cab Truck features front and rear wide wings with integrated vents and bolt apertures.
The front fascia is transformed thanks to the addition of a new bumper replacement with integrated daytime running lights and shadow chrome headlights.
A two-inch lift on the suspension, a lower bumper guard and front roof wing spoiler enhance the overall feel and look of the vehicle.
The tough, rugged look of the Land Rover Defender 2.4 TDCI 90 Pick Up Chelsea Wide Track is apparent below the waistline thanks to the introduction of a new set of 9 x 16” Satin Black Defend 68 wheels with 285/75/16” tyres whilst new toughened mud flaps are positioned behind the wheels with the rear pair integrating a set of cross-hair exhaust outlets.
Inside, the Land Rover Defender gets a lavish makeover. Both the front seats were replaced with Sports GTB seats trimmed in Quilted Leather.
A new Satin Silver Kahn billet steering wheel and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium will allow the driver to tackle the road or track with a wealth of custom tailored opulence.
Additional handcrafted details include a centre glove box in quilted and perforated leather, a new Churchill time clock integrated into the dashboard, Instrument Binnacle and Door Cards in Black Leather.
