Chelsea Truck Co. launches new Volcanic Stone variant of the Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk
Mar 23, 2020

Since its launch at the 2016 International Motor Show in Geneva, the Black Hawk has rapidly become the most sought after Jeep Wrangler model in the Chelsea Truck Company range.

With the design process personally overseen by Creative Director Afzal Kahn, the development of the Black Hawk saw the company strip the vehicle right back to its bare essentials and redesign each of the key elements. The result is a perfect fusion of an iconic American design with contemporary British style.

Outside, the Chelsea Truck Company\'s trademark 4 slot grille has been shortened to accommodate a wider and more rugged front bumper assembly. Widened front and rear wheel arches give the Jeep a distinctive Chelsea Truck Co. profile, while the Iron Man vented bonnet enhances the aggressive styling of the vehicle. This unique example is presented in a never before seen Volcanic Stone colour scheme, a signature Cromax® paint finish specially sourced and exclusive to the Black Hawk.

The Jeep 1941DC 7.5 x 17\" Alloy Wheels in Satin Black paired with Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx 285 x 70 x 17\" All Terrain Tyres feature brake calipers finished in Liquid Gold.

The overall look is completed by subtle touches including a quad exhaust system in stainless steel, tinted privacy glass, Shadow Chrome tinted headlamps, horizontal LED daytime running lights and Tron style ring lighting.

Inside, the skill of the Chelsea Truck Company’s team of UK craftsmen is evident throughout. The heated front GTB sports seats, along with the rear bench seat, have been reupholstered in quilted Black Matrix leather, with matching leather trim to the centre glovebox and armrests. Vented foot pedals in machined aluminium match the branded door sill plates in stainless steel.

With a level of build quality and attention to detail approaching that of a fully coachbuilt vehicle, it’s unsurprising that independent research from automotive trade specialists CAP shows the Black Hawk maintaining a residual value of 35% above the standard Jeep Wrangler.
