CAP Assessment Shows 35% Uplift In Residual Value For the Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk Edition
Mar 18, 2020
The automotive marketplace can often be an unforgiving world when it comes to financial investments. Predicting the value of a given vehicle over a certain period of time is often difficult, particularly when it comes to bespoke or enhanced vehicles.
Vehicles with aftermarket modifications have traditionally posed a problem for consumers, with a lack of clarity about the effect that aesthetic or performance enhancements have on the residual value.
To increase customer confidence in the added value associated with their vehicle enhancements, The Kahn Group has been working with independent trade specialists CAP for a number of years, commissioning a quarterly report to assess the residual value of its Project Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company vehicles.
According to the latest quarterly figures released by CAP, The Chelsea Truck Company Black Hawk Edition, which was first unveiled to the world at the 2016 Geneva Show, retains a mammoth 35% more value than a standard Sahara model on which it is based.
CAP independently assessed the added value of a number of Chelsea Truck Company and Project Kahn vehicles, inspecting every single facet from external body styling, exhaust systems, wheels and an array of bespoke interior features.
“The results reflect the dedication of the Chelsea Truck Company to improve not just the overall styling of the Jeep Wrangler, but to add value and quality,” said Afzal Kahn, Founder and Chief Designer of the Kahn Group.
“The Chelsea Truck Company Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk Edition stole the show at the Geneva Show, and these latest figures only serve to prove, not only is it a great looking car, it is an incredibly shrewd investment.
“The value of high quality customised vehicles with the Chelsea Truck Company and Project Kahn badge is only increasing.”
CAP Black Book is used as the industry benchmark for used car disposal values and provides comprehensive used car valuation data for the majority of cars on the market.
