View from the press: British start-up Ant-Kahn officially launches
16th Jul 2014
Jordan Bishop of Auto Express reports on the launch of Ant-Kahn, a partnership between two well-known figures in the automotive business to create a new car.
Ant-Kahn is a partnership between Afzal Kahn, founder of the Kahn group of companies, and Ant Anstead, creator of expert vehicle manufacturer Evanta, and star of Channel 4’s ‘For The Love of Cars’.
Bishop’s report details Ant-Kahn’s plans to launch coach-built and original models, including a modern take on the classic Land Rover Defender.
Not content with making custom vehicles for use in Hollywood blockbusters, automotive fashion designer Afzal Kahn has now teamed up with Evanta founder Ant Anstead to launch a new car manufacturing and coach building marque.
Somewhat unsurprisingly called Ant-Kahn, the British start-up wants to lead a homegrown revival in specialist vehicle manufacture, a drive underpinned by UK-based design and production centres.
