Keeping Up With The Neighbours

You may not have given much thought to the colour of your new car, but if you want to impress your neighbours one colour seems to stand out from the rest.

A vast number surveyed by iSeecars believe that by owning an orange-coloured vehicle their neighbours would be suitably impressed.

Colour choices are more often than not closely linked to the type of car an individual chooses, regardless of their gender. Red and black – and now orange – are wildly popular for sports cars, pickups, sporty coupes and executive vehicles.

Furthermore, 67% of people believed leather seats were the accessory most likely to improve the appearance of their vehicle. 63% of those aged up to 24 viewed headlamps as a key accessory with 40% feeling high mileage was the biggest factor that lowered a car’s value.

Furthermore, the survey revealed 5.5% of people would upgrade their vehicle if they thought their neighbour’s vehicle was worth more whilst 40% of people would be tempted to sell their car if they found it was worth more than they expected.

Chelsea Truck Company Sales Executive Dharmesh Patel said: “Whether clients want to simply keep up with their neighbours or simply look good everywhere they drive to, there has never been a better time to buy a complete vehicle along with parts and accessories.”

The Chelsea Truck Company offers a range of Jeep and Defender components from exterior styling to lightweight alloy wheels to hand stitched leather interiors.
