The Kahn Land Rover Defender SW 90 made an appearance last week at the Buckhurst Hill Cricket and Lacrosse Club as the Primary Club Casuals and the Cricketers Club of London went head to head. The day was in aid of The Primary Club, a charity aiding the blind and visually impaired. This was their second year at Buckhurst Hill, and they are already looking forward to a rematch next year.

Despite a sunny morning, the weather got progressively worse, and the game was rained off by lunch time. However, this did not deter players and spectators alike from admiring our Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCi SW 90 – Chelsea Wide Track, which certainly became a talking point for many in attendance.

To brighten spirits further, a sunny spell in the afternoon ensured the match was restarted with the Cricketers Club of London overcoming the opposition to win the match.

A raffle concluded the day, for which Kahn donated two Boodles Diamond Tickets for the Country Life Fair next month, congratulations to Paul Frost, the lucky winner.

All supporters and friends of the Primary Club are welcome back to the Buckhurst Hill on the 28th of August as Kahn Design once again support the London Cricketers Club as they set out to raise money in aid of an event entitled: ‘Mt Kili Madness’.

Currently the world record for the highest recorded game of cricket stands at 5100m which took place at Base Camp 2 of Everest as The London Cricketers Club plan to play at 5785m which will be an immense achievement and will undoubtedly raise much interest, coverage and support, all in support of Cancer Research UK.
